Formax Combi 0030 High Security Paper / Optical Media Shredder

The Combi 0030 for High Security Paper Shredding & Optical Media Destruction is a two-in-one unit on the NSA Evaluated Products List (EPL), which exceeds the latest 2018 NSA mandate of particle size less than 2mm for DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.

In keeping with Formax quality, both cutting heads are housed in a noise-reducing, heavy duty all-metal cabinet for the office environment. In addition, the Combi 0030 includes heavy duty casters for mobility, allowing it to be easily moved to different locations.

Paper is cross-cut shredded into pieces less than .8mm x 4.5mm, meeting the NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 for High Security Cross-Cut Paper Shredders. Optical media is virtually disintegrated into dust-sized particles of less than 1.5mm², surpassing the latest 2018 NSA/CSS requirements of less than 2mm for DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. The optical media head also destroys CDs, EMV credit cards, CAC IDs, magnetic stripe cards and SIM cards.

The fine paper particles are collected in a heavy-duty 35-gallon molded plastic waste bin, designed for easier handling and durability than a simple wire frame and bag design. The dust-like optical media particles are filtered into the integrated vacuum bag for proper containment and a cleaner office environment.

A centralized power switch toggles between the paper shredder and optical media head to ensure optimal power when shredding paper or media, maintaining the 110V power essential for military bases and most flexible for standard offices as well.

Standard features include Auto Start/Stop, steel cutting blades, LED control panel, all-metal cabinet on casters, and the EvenFlow™ Automatic Internal Oiling System, which lubricates the paper cutting blades automatically for optimal shredding performance.
